Scotvalve Services Limited (Scotvalves) has secured a new three year repair and maintenance contract, worth an estimated £2.5 million, with Plexus Ocean Systems Ltd based in Dyce, Aberdeen.
The three year contract will see Scotvalves provide welding and machining services for Plexus wellhead systems and other associated equipment. Plexus, the main operating subsidiary company for the sale and rental of surface applications and exploration and production wellhead equipment, has entered into an agreement to ensure a fast repair and maintenance turnaround service on their equipment to meet growing demand from new and existing clients.
Chris Chambers, Director of Oilfield Services, Scotvalves said: “Plexus approached us with a requirement for a quick and quality turnaround of maintenance and repair services for its surface wellhead equipment that is rented into the market place. We offered an innovative and well planned solution, on an initial six month agreement, that has worked well and consequently rolled over to a full three year agreement.”
